The Senator representing Delta North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Ned Munir Nwoko, has stated that Nigeria needs bold ideas, courageous leadership, and the will to do what is right not what is easy.”
He reaffirmed his resolve to continue working with all who seek the peace, unity, and progress Nigeria.
Senator Nwoko was speaking on the sidelines of the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) held at the Presidential Villa under the able leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima.
According to the Senator, “the NEC meeting provided a timely platform for party leaders and national stakeholders to engage in meaningful dialogue on the future of the party and the broader course of our nation.
“I commend Mr. President and the Vice President for consistently demonstrating a sense of inclusion, maturity, and strategic focus in advancing the collective interests of Nigeria.
As Senator representing the people of Delta North, I believe that no meaningful national development can be achieved without unity of purpose, responsible political engagement, and the courage to rise above partisan boundaries when the moment calls for national introspection and direction. My presence at the meeting reflects not just my commitment to these ideals but also the growing voice and influence of Delta in the national political conversation.
Going further, Senator Nwoko stressed: “I believe that no meaningful national development can be achieved without unity of purpose, responsible political engagement, and the courage to rise above partisan boundaries when the moment calls for national introspection and direction.

On the ratification of Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda as acting National Chairman of the APC: “I sincerely congratulate Professor Yilwatda on his emergence. He is a man of intellect and vision, and I believe he brings with him the capacity to steer the party through this crucial phase of renewal and consolidation.
“His leadership under the guidance of President Tinubu will be instrumental in strengthening internal cohesion, re-energizing the party structure, and building on the momentum required to deliver on the party’s promises to the Nigerian people.”
Senator Nwoko expressed his commitment “to legislative excellence, constructive national engagement, and delivering meaningful outcomes for the people of Delta North,” adding “we have a responsibility to rise above the noise of politics and focus on the substance of governance, development, justice, and the common good.”
