It has been, a terrifyingly terrible year for everybody. It will be duplicitous and irritatingly  superfluous to describe the reaping acts and mortifying harvests of this year, in any lyrical form, because it’s a notorious fact.

But for historic reason, this year shouldn’t exit in law and evidence. A humbly year for arrogant kings and unfortunate year for innocent citizens. Luckily, for us here, this intellectual asphyxia, took a flight of fancy, provoking the outpouring of the most cerebral conversations, insightful analysis and patriotic solutions. No subject was impregnable or  inaccessible. From Gen. G.O. Abbé in Benin to Senator Bode Olajumoke in Imeri, Ondo State, discussions here adhered to inspiring love  for Nigeria.

With LLM and Ph.D ( Osgoode Hall, York University, Toronto) Dr. Ukhuegbe was until recently with the University of Benin, where he taught a generation of visionary law students, nurturing many to aspire beyond the stifling jungles of Osasogie.

Dr. Ukhuegbe salutary commonwealth contributions to legal education will require more than just this social media announcement. Please join me in congratulating Dr. Ukhuegbe as the MPOI Person of the Year!!!
