Kabaka apologizes to APC leaders, promises to support Okpebholo’s aspiration

Comrade Tony Adun(aka Tony Kabaka), the Edo State Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress(APC), has tendered unreseved apology to leaders and women of the party as regards the conduct of the party youths during the party’s governorship primary election on Saturday, February 17th and thereafter.

In his letter of apology Kabaka stated: “The party is supreme. I will work with the party and leaders to ensure that our candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo, is victorious.

“I wish to use this medium to congratulate him on his victory at the just concluded party primary. I want to urge all the youths to embrace peace and let us all work together to make sure we succeed in the general elections come September 2024.

“I remain a loyal party man. I wish to use this opportunity to appeal to our State Chairman, Hon. Jarret Tenebe and State Secretary, Engr. Lawrence Okah and other members of the State Working Committee(SWC) to lead us to rebuild the party and bring all of us the youth together to ensure our party produce the next Governor in the elections.”

It would be recalled that Comrade Kabaka, in protest, led some of the APC youths on Monday, February 19th, to forcefully occupy, the party’s Secretatiat in Benin City while causing severe damages to the property and official documents of the party.
