A group of political analysts, The Conscious Watchmen(TCW), has thrown its weight behind the aspiration of Comrade Paul Omo Okojie to represent Edo Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly (NASS).
The group said that it took the decision based on the outcome of its detailed assessment of the different individuals that are aiming for the position via the forthcoming bye election slated for Saturday, August 16th.
“Comrade Paul Omo Okojie emerged as the best of the lot. He is a man imbued with a passion for public service. His untiring effort to make life better for his constituents is inspiring,” TCW submitted.
While the Labour Party(LP) frontrunner keeps pushing forward for the task ahead. Political analysts are already making comparison between him and some great leaders in recent time saying that “every great leader started from somewhere.”
They urged him to believe in himself adding “your vision for the community/future is compelling” even as they also encouraged him to “stay committed.”
As the date for the election gets close he is told that “challenges are opportunities for growth” with assurance that he has got such in large quantities. Those who believe in his mission and vision told him, “criticism can’t silence your voice. Stay focused.”
Comrade Okojie is running for office to make a difference in the lives of his constituents not to win a popularity contest. Thus his sight is glued on the bigger picture of ensuring that the dividends of democracy gets across to all and sundry irrespective of social status.
Going further, they asserted that the impact he’ll make will outlast this campaign as he is not just running for office but shaping the future, adding “your dedication will inspire others.”
They affirmed that his authenticity is his strength thus he should not let anyone dull his sparkle as his voice matters and he should keep speaking truth to power.
