Former Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Elizabeth Ativie, is currently in dire straits as her phone has been hacked by criminals.
To checkmate the activities of the scamsters the former Speaker has reached out to her friends on social media with a message warning them to beware of the evil activities of the fraudsters.
Ativie’s message went thus: “Dear all my phone has been hacked. Anybody calling or texting to ask to transfer money to my account or any account on my behalf is not me.
“Kindly report such account to the bank and the police. Thank you.”
