HRH Henry Binidodogha, the Ovuru 1 of Ofunama Community in Ovia South West Local Government Area of Edo State, has sent his felicitation to the Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare 11, on the occasion of this year’s Igue Festival.
In his message, HRH Binidodogha stated that he and his people are gearing up for the Igue Festival with renewed joy knowing that it will bring in its stead blessings on all and sundry.
According, to HRH Binidodogha, “the Igue Festival is known for bringing good tidings. I and my people are preparing for the festival and will surely benefit from it as usual. I will lead the way forward to pay obeisance to the Omo N’Oba so that we get some share of the blessings pouring forth.”
He also praised the Iyase of Benin Kingdom, Chief Sam Igbe, for his fatherly disposition.
