Comrade Kelly Okungbowa(aka Ebo Stone Capacity 001), a youth mobilizer and National Coordinator of the Youth 4 Youth group, has appealed to youths “to engage with Nigeria government on peaceful and constitutional way of resolving the hardship problem.”

He was reacting to the planned nationwide hunger protest billed to hold between the 1st – 10th August 2024.

Comrade Okungbowa acknowledged that there’s hunger in the land but called on the youths not to allow themselves to be used by expired politicians whose children are in abroad, “therefore if they call you to protest tell them to bring their family abroad to join the protest.”

He expressed dismay that the organisers of the planned protest didn’t engage with the government before planning to go to the street, advising the youths to shun violence.

Known for his realistic struggle, he called on the government at all levels to step up their game and address the hunger challenge in the country.

According to him, “Mr. President to the best of my knowledge never campaigned as a magician. He campaigned as a statesman on the basis of renewed hope. When you want to reprocess a system that has been down you need a bit of time. Reasons the youths should give the President more time to deliver on his mandate to Nigerians.”
