A group, Egor United Forum, made up of essentially of youths from the communities in Egor Local Government Area of Edo State, has thrown its weight behind the state governor, Godwin Obaseki.
And in line with this they have promised their support his clamour for votes for his party(PDP) flagbearers in this forthcoming Saturday’s State House of Assembly elections.
In a Press Statement made available to Popular News, the group said: “we whole heartedly come out to declare our support for the Executive Governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki, the wake and see Governor of Edo State on his success story so far in the development of our dear state, Edo, particularly in our local government area in the past six years.
“Our voice in the House of Assembly elections scheduled for the 18th of March, 2023 is our own little way to say thank you Mr. Governor for all the projects and opportunities you have given to the people of Egor Local Government Area.”
They affirmed that they are mobilizing and appealing to the people of the state to come out enmasse “to cast their votes in support for all the candidates of Governor Obaseki contesting for the Edo State House of Assembly in the PDP.”
