The Okunbo family of Orhua in Uhunmwode Local Government Area of Edo State has described the death of their philantropist sibling, multibillionaire business magnate, Captain Idahosa Wells Okunbo, as a loss to them but a gain to heaven.

They made the description in the course of announcing the burial programmes of the late philantropist which commences from Tuesday, October 5th and runs through Sunday, October 10th, 2021.

Speaking at the Press Conference, which had in attendance the first daughter of the deceased, Olori Ivie, who is the Queen of Warri, Kingsley, the immediate younger brother of the deceased, paid tributes to all and sundry spread around the world who have been in constant touch to commiserate with the family on the demise of their brother.

Kingsley stated that outside the members of the Okunbo family other groups and friends of their illustrious son have also put in place some programmes as their own tribute to the memory of the deceased.

Aged 63 years old the late Captain Idahosa Wells Okunbo died in the early hours of Sunday, August 8th, 2021, in a London Hospital after a protracted battle with cancer.
