Fatai Efehi Mustapha, Diaspora Coordinator and Comrade Roy Oribhabor, Convener, Concerned Edo Citizens Forum ( CECF), have congratulated Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki for ‘his well deserved victory’ in the court recently.
In a statement signed by the duo and made available to Popular News they said: “We, the Concerned Edo Citizens Forum(CECF), hereby with great joy in our hearts felicitate with Mr. Godwin Obaseki on his victory at the court.
“The judiciary has once again demonstrated that of a truth, they are the hope of the commoners. If everything fail in Nigeria but the judiciary have behaved otherwise.
“This judiciary pronouncement have further confirmed that the endorsement of Obaseki via election was not done in an error. Therefore, we salute the judiciary and President Buhari for the enabling environment to operate accordingly .
“We call on Governor Obaseki to further use the victory to reward Edo people via massive people oriented projects and also, on the opposition to jettison the spirit of appeal but to show spirit of sportsmanship and accept the outcome accordingly because there is tomorrow.
“Finally, we commend Edo people for the determination to remain focused and supportive of the administration of Obaseki.
“Once again congrats to Edo people and above all, we thank God for the grace and mercy to overcome the political yobbos and elementary gimmicks formulated by unholy actions based on their shenanigans.”
