BU also frowns at the incursions of thugs in the protests, burning of police stations and the violence that erupted in Edo State on Monday leading to a jail break as it cautions against the use of violence to settle civil scores warning that such acts of brigandage would do the region no good as he calls on protesting youths across the nation to be civil in their protests against bad governance.

While commiserating with the families of victims who lost their lives in the scuffle, and those injured, Wehere calls for restrain and demands that the government should Withdraw all military troupes unleashing terror against peaceful protesters in order not to result to a total break down of law and order which does not augur well for the nation.

“BU lends its voice to the ENDSARS campaigns as it is in line with BU’s demands for better governance and protection of the rights of the citizens against police brutality which has been a bane in recent past.”
