First Phase Amnesty Programme beneficiaries reconstitutes exco

Beneficiaries of the First Phase of the Presidential Amnesty Programme(PAP), after a well attended meeting held last weekend in Benin City, reconstituted its executive to pilot its affairs for the next one year.

Explaining the exigencies that brought about the new order, the National Chairman of the group, HRH Henry Binidodougha, gave a narrative of how the affairs of the group was diverted by a cartel of a few members whose sole aim was to fleece the resources of the group to the disadvantage of the majority of the members.

He recalled how on such occasions the cartel cut him off completely from what was going on. He promised the members that he is prepared to be in the forefront of addressing the shortcomings in the remaining half of his tenure as he has valuable information that he can deploy to address the wrongdoings.

HRH Binidodougha got unanimous support to reconstitute the executive membership team by replacing some deadwoods, who have excused themselves from active participation in the group’s activities, with dedicated individuals that would play positive roles in advancing its ideals. 

In a chat with the media on the sidelines of the meeting, members gave kudos to HRH Binidodougha, the National Chairman, for his forthrightness and dedication to the cause of the group and promised to give him maximum support in his quest to change the backward slide for the better. 

The  reconstituted executive team at the end of the meeting held in Benin City and attended by members from Edo, Ondo, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Delta, Imo and Bayelsa States were HRH Henry Binidodougha (National Chairman); Chief Opunama Andanbofa(National Vice Chairman); Torimo Excel(National PRO); Joshua Opia(Assistant National PRO); Nature Dumale Kieghe(National Secretary); Vokor Chidi(Assistant National Secretary); Chief Otelo Mabichi(Ondo State Coordinator); Chief Omoh Tonworiya(Edo State Coordinator); Joseph Figbele(Delta State Coordinator); Dirikoro Alfred(Bayelsa State Coordinator); Franklin Duduku(Cross River State Coordinator); Egbele Granvile Odele(Rivers State Coordinator); Chief Nico Sinte(Akwa Ibom State Coordinator); Igwe Emeka(Imo State Coordinator); Kingsley Nai(Abia State Coordinator) and High Chief Pere Ejune Goki(National Adviser).
