On behalf of the State Working Committee (SWC) of the Nigeria Union of Journallists (NUJ), Edo State Council, I, Festus Alenkhe JP, Chairman of the Council hereby felicitate with our esteemed Journalists in Edo State on the occasion of the New Year, 2022.

No doubt, I am the Chairman of NUJ today because you trusted me and overwhelmingly gave me your mandate to lead the union for the next three years.

Let me assure you all that during my tenure as Chairman of the union, we will not derail from our electoral promises.

We therefore solicit the cooperation, support and prayers of everyone to make the union better than we met it.

As we have moved into the new year, I urge everyone not to lose faith in God for what He can do through us, but to continue to trust Him for a better tomorrow.

I therefore wish Journalists in Edo State a bountiful and result oriented new year.
Our “New Vision-New Mission” statement with fresh breath for Edo NUJ will remain our springboard.
