Exclusive: PDP moot reconciliation party in Dan Orbih’s mansion

Information reaching Popular News is that high level intervention has come from some high networth individuals and prominent politicians to reconcile the two warring factions of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State – the Legacy Group led by Chief Dan Osi Orbih, the party’s South South Vice President and the group led by Governor Godwin Obaseki.

The vehicle to be used for the reconciliation, according to a reliable source, is the Atiku-Okowa Coalition.

The first step to be adopted towards achieving this reconciliation we learnt is a mega party to be held in the imposing mansion of Chief Orbih situated off Adesuwa Grammar School Road, in the GRA axis of Benin City where a plethora of delicacies, choice drinks laced with sonorous music will be available for guests.

“The party is slated for the last week of December and all and sundry in the PDP, including the key actors in the feud currently threatening the chances of the party winning the 2023 general elections, are expected to be in attendance,” our source vouched.

Going further, the source disclosed: “We (PDP) are one united family. We cannot afford to let a minor disagreement lead us to lose the 2023 general elections which is a deciding factor for Nigeria’s continued existence as a united and prosperous entity.”
