Come Saturday, March 29th, all roads will be leading to Horatio Marquee situated at Okada Avenue, GRA, Benin City, as Engr. Chris Ogiemwonyi, former Minister of State for Works, would be hosting guests to the funeral reception cum tributes of his late mother-in-law, Deaconess Grace Olague(nee Amadasun).
The funeral process starts on Thursday, March 27th, with a service of songs/lying in state and interment at the residence of the deceased woman situated on Osifo Street, Off Mobile Avenue, Ogida Barracks, Benin City.
On Sunday, March 30th, a thanksgiving service will round up the activities at Rhema Centre behind the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin.
Information reaching this publication is that all friends and associates of Engr. Ogiemwonyi and his wife from all parts of the country and the diaspora who are billed to participate in the funeral activities are getting set to storm Benin City in support of the duo.
As you’re reading this all the i’s are being dotted and the t’s are being crossed in preparation for the high society event. Deaconess Olague passed away on 21st October 2024.
