Eid-el-fitri: Edo NUJ chairman wants criminals to be flushed out of the state

The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists(NUJ), Edo State Council, Dr. Festus Alenkhe has charged that criminals should not be given any spot in the state as he called on the people to render useful information to the police and other security agents with a view to checking the activities of criminals in the state. 

He made the charge while sending a message of felicitations to all muslim faithful in Edo State on the completion of the one month Ramadan fast which led to Eid al-Fitr.

Dr. Festus Alenkhe prayed for all the sacrifices that went with the fasting to be rewarded and the prayers answered. He further prayed that the period bring peace, joy and countless blessings to the people of the state. 

Dr. Alenkhe also prayed for all the muslim journalists in Edo State for Allah to grant them the zeal and temerity to continue to carry out their job diligently devoid of any form of intimidation and harassment, but to align with the ethics of the journalism profession. 

He wished everyone in Edo State and their loved ones a beautiful Sallah filled with unity, gratitude and barakah. Dr. Alenkhe called on the people of the state to continue to support and encourage the various security agents in their bid to flush out criminal elements out of the state.
