Among the free services rendered were medical services, hair cut, makeup artistry, face painting and hair styling.

The programme, tagged “EdoJobbers’ Thanksgiving and Charity Event”, took  place at UNIFAC Group of Schools, along Upper Ekenhuan Road, Ugbiyokho, Benin City.

According to the Managing Director, EdoJobs, Mrs. Ukinebo Dare, the charity event was put together by the different beneficiaries of the agency’s intervention programmes in the last three years and eleven months in celebration of the governor’s reelection.

She noted that the gesture showcased the different services being offered by EdoJobbers and celebrated the achievements of the governor, especially in terms of capacity building, skills development and youth empowerment.

Also, the Councilor representing Ward 1, Egor Local Government Area, Hon. Eghe Oseki, thanked the EdoJobbers for the kind gesture, praying that God blesses them immensely.

She noted: “When I was called by the EdoJobbers that they were going to organise a thanksgiving and charity event to celebrate the victory of Governor Godwin Obaseki and his deputy, Rt. Hon.Comr. Philip Shaibu, I was so happy and decided to support them to ensure that the programme was a success because when my people are happy, I am happy.

“We thank them for this kind gesture and for remembering our people in their celebration. We pray that Almighty God will replenish their purses and grant the Governor the wisdom to lead Edo people.”

A beneficiary, Mrs. Joy Isaac, thanked the Governor and the EdoJobbers for the gifts, expressing optimism that the governor will not disappoint the people.
