Organisers of the much talked about Edo State Quintessential Icons -a compendium of who is who in Edo State, put together by National Chronicle Newspaper have announced its postponement from the earlier date of August 30 to September 30, 2025.
The venue remains the Bishop Kelly Pastoral Center Benin City.
The Chairman of the occasion is no other person than the oil and gas mogul, Engr. Leemon Ikpea, and the Chief Host and the Special Guest of Honour is the Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo.
Others include the Special Guest Speaker, Prof. Sylvester Odion Akhaine of the Department of Political Science, Lagos State University(LASU) and General Cecil Esekhaigbe(rtd). Chief Mike Ozekhome serves as one of the key speakers.
According to the organisers the postponement is aimed at making the event more impactful and memorable, as well as to enable Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) members attending NBA Conference in Enugu attend the epoch event.
