People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State, has mourned the passing on of one of its chieftains, Evelyn Igbafe, who died on Monday, January 31, 2022.
In a message signed by the state chairman of the party, Dr. Tony Aziegbemi, he stated thus: “The Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, in Edo State received the news of the passing of Mrs Evelyn Igbafe with shock and sadness.
“Mrs Igbafe was a dedicated, loyal and committed member of our great party. Her counsel was a blessing and added value to the development and growth of the party in not just in Etsako Central Local Government Area where she was a leader, but the whole of Edo State.
“Mrs Igbafe was snatched by the cold hands of death on Monday, January 31, 2022.
“We pray that God will grant her family, friends, associates, well wishers and members of PDP in Edo State and beyond the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. We can only ask them to stay strong in this trying time.
“May her soul Rest In Peace.”
