The Edo State’s chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has extended kind wishes to former governor of the State and member of the PDP Board of Trustees, Chief Lucky Igbinedion, on his birthday.
In a statement, Publicity Secretary of the Edo PDP Caretaker Committee, Chris Osa Nehikhare, described Chief Igbinedion as leader who over the years has remained passionate about Edo State and its people, acknowledging his continued contributions to the growth of the PDP and the development of Edo State.
He said, “We heartily congratulate former Governor of Edo State and member of the board of trustees of our great party, Chief Lucky Igbinedion, as he marks his birthday.
“As respected statesman and committed leader, Chief Igbinedion has remained a pillar of strength, offering wise counsel and support and building bridges of partnership that that have sustained harmonious living in the State and across the country.
“We celebrate him today and acknowledge his continued contributions to the growth of our great party and the development of Edo State.
“As you mark your birthday, I heartily felicitate with you and wish you many more years in good health and sound mind.”
