Edo 2024: Youth leader canvasses votes for Okpebholo

A grassroot mobilizer and youth leader, Kelvin Omoruyi, has felicitated with Christians around the world as they mark this year’s Easter season, charging them to imbibe Godly values of righteousness, peace and unity.

The young politician from Ovia South West Local Government Area of Edo State in a statement called on all Nigerians to take advantage of the significance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ to advance peace and commit themselves to God, in faith and in practice.

Omoruyi maintained that the celebration of Jesus Christ’s resurrection and salvation, offered Nigerians a great opportunity to come closer to God and promote all virtues that would enhance peace, love, unity and progress of the country.

While wishing the good people of Edo State and indeed all Nigerians a spiritually rewarding Easter celebration, he charged them to reflect soberly and intensify prayers for God’s intervention and abiding grace, for the state ahead of the forthcoming gubernatorial polls.

The youth leader also urged Edo people to pray and work in love, unity and faith as a means of securing right leadership in the governance of the state.

“I call on all Edo people regardless of tribe or religion to remain steadfast and resolute as we match forward as a state bound by our diversity. Let’s pray for our leaders. Let’s pray for us to overcome our challenges, especially, hunger in our land. Let’s show love to one another, irrespective of our tribe or religion.

“I also urge Edo people to look forward for a  free, fair and credible election under the leadership of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu. This is why we should vote for the best brains in this governorship election.

“It is clear the APC has fielded the best candidate for the election and everyone should vote out the MoU government that failed on its promises. Senator Monday Okpebholo (aka Akpakomiza) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is the way forward for Edo people in 2024,” Omoruyi asserted.
