Group congratulates Okpebholo, says his emergence vindicates vision

People’s Redemption Party (PRP) has declared it’s readiness to produce the next Governor of Edo State.

Speaking in Benin recently, the chairman of the party in the state, Dr. Osasere Greg Igbinomwanhia, said the state and its people are tired of the usual political parties and their members who have recycled their likes in government without any tangible result.

Dr. Igbinomwanhia noted that the PDP, All Progressives Congress (APC) and Labour Party (LP) that has been infiltrated by spill overs from the last two are one and the same people who have nothing to offer but paddy paddy government that does not put the people first but serve the interest of the elite group.

The PRP chairman insisted that his party which was founded by Mallam Aminu Kano in the 70s with the interest of the poor people -‘talakawas’, as its major preccupation, is the only party in Nigeria today that can honestly bring succour to the already deprived vast majority of Nigerians and Edo people.

Dr. Igbinomwanhia stressed that it will be suicidal for Edo people to allow PDP, APC or even the already polluted LP to produce the next government in Edo State, saying that the sufferings which the people have been subjected to over the years have reached the limit.

He said the people can not continue with another administration that cannot provide adequately for good roads, good and accessible health care, sound and affordable education,
security of lives and property, job opportunity, affordable and liveable houses and other basic and social needs of the people.

The chairman informed that the party already have quality and capable governorship aspirants for the 2024 governorship elections.

For example, “we have Madam Patient Ndidi Uwagboe Key, a USA based professional who has signified her intention to run for the position. We also have a few others who are discussing with us but are yet to conclude on their intention.

“We use this medium to call on Edo people to join PRP, the only undiluted, unpolluted and honest party in Nigeria that can truly fight for and guarantee the interest of the masses and make life better for them, so that we can collectively chase these enemy of the people out of public offices.”
