Edo 2024: PDP ward leaders in Ofunama give full backing to Ighodalo

High Chief Pere Ejune and other leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Ofunama ward 9 of Ovia South West Local Government Area of Edo State namely Hon. Kariemi, Solomon Erebemi and Nike Elder, have sent a resounding message of congratulations to Barrister Asue Ighodalo, who emerged the party’s standard bearer for the September 21 gubernatorial polls. 

They described the process that threw up Barrister Ighodalo as been very free and fair in all ramifications and giving kudos to the PDP stakeholders and indeed Governor Godwin Obaseki for their act of civility and friendliness throughout the duration of the primary election exercise. 

“We have no doubt in our minds that Barrister Asue Ighodalo will continue with the good deeds of Governor Obaseki when he succeeds him in November. As such we have no doubt that Barrister Ighodalo will come out tops in the governorship poll coming up on Saturday, September 21.

“Barrister Ighodalo should be assured that we are fully with him and for him on the election day. Our decision to join his campaign train is to show our appreciation to Governor Obaseki whose achievements driven eight years tenure at the Government House in Osadebey Avenue is worthy of emulation,” they opined. 

They charged all and sundry to make themselves the agent of the good governance they have always desired by sticking to the PDP and its governorship candidate thereby ensuring that his victory is certain.
