Former Deputy Governor of Edo State, Chief Lucky Eghosa Imasuen, will on Friday, January 5, formally declare his aspiration to contest the governorship election in the state in September.
Chief Imasuen, who will be accompanied by a retinue of his supporters, will storm the All Progressives Congress (APC) State Secretariat situated off Airport Road, Benin, by 11.00 am to intimate the executive officials, elders and other stakeholders of the party about his aspiration.
Recall that Chief Imasuen served as the Deputy Governor of Edo State in the 18months reign of Professor Oserheimen Osunbor as Governor from May 2007 to November 2008.
The declaration of Chief Imasuen’s aspiration on Friday is billed to be spiced with lots of entertainment and feasting.
