Comrade Ede Agho, the Vice Chairmanship candidate in the Edo Council NUJ election slated for December, has received accolades from notable officials of the state Ministry of Communication and Orientation.
She got the accolades while she led members of her campaign team to officially declare her intention to members of the state Information Chapel on Wednesdsy morning.
While declaring her aspiration and seeking for support from the chapel members, Comrade Agho dispelled what she called the misnomer whereby some elements are insinuating that she is entering into enemy territory asserting that she’s at home especially as most of the chapel members are people who she has related with on a positive premise in the past.
She affirmed that the contest is a race between two sisters and at the end of it all both camps will embrace and work together as a team for the betterment of the council. She promised her hosts that her emergence would translate to good tidings to members of the council.
Responding two senior officials of the Ministry said that Comrade Agho is not a stranger to them and they have had good rapport with her on several occasions and that she will her from them on the election day.
