The Immediate Past President of the World Medical Association (WMA), Dr. Osahon Enabulele, has extended warm felicitations to Christians all over the world as we celebrate the Easter season.
In his message he asserted: “As we bask in the celebrations, I appeal to all citizens to use the golden opportunity of the Easter season to undertake solemn reflections, and sacrficially manifest the cherished virtues of forgiveness, tolerance, love, peace and unity.
“It is my hope that a stronger commitment to the lesson of this season will provide the needed spark for the resolution of many challenges and conflicts that still bedevil our communities and countries, including the rising poverty level and misery index largely due to poor governance, as well as health, inequalities and insecurity.
“May the Easter season roll away all these adversities the country is presently going through and usher in a more equitable, healthy and prosperous World.
”I wish my fellow citizens of Edo State and Nigeria and other citizens of the world, a very splendid Easter celebration.”
