Diri reappoints Oredipe as DG New Media

Veteran broadcaster and journalist, Dr. Samuel Kolawole Oredipe, has been reappointed as Director-General(DG), New Media to the Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri. The appointment is with immediate effect.

Dr. Oredipe, an Assistant Director News with the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria(FRCN), has changed the face of social media practice in the state with massive capacity training for the practitioners in the past four years.

Oredipe, dubbed as Niger Delta reporter, has put in over 24 years into journalism practice covering prints and electronic media. He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria(APCON).

Oredipe, a Development Communication expert is a leadership and management coach in the Junior Chamber International (JCI), a global organisation for young leaders and entrepreneurs.
