“Corper Omeiza, has done well. Among 225 corp members serving in Edo state it is two of them that distinguished themselves. The other corp member is erecting a calls log at Idogbo community, Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area of the state. They distinguished themselves among other corp members for carrying out Personal Projects.

“That is what NYSC scheme is all about, not leaving their localities the way they met it. Making the community better than the way they met it.

“What Corper Omeiza did is to brighten and lighten the locality. By providing six solar light to this Agbonmoba community. I want to say, back to darkness and welcomed to light. This community will never experience darkness any more. This project is a laudable one, durable and it is going to last for long. I beg the community that they should keep watching this project. And this project will fulfil the purpose for which it is done.

“Let it continue to give light to this community, and Agbonmoba locality keep on enjoying the light. For Corper Omeiza the community will never forget you in a hurry. They will keep remembering you, even after you have gone.

“Keep whatever you are doing, you may not know when it would pay you. It may not pay you, but your children or your generation. And I know God will surely reward you for it.

“Above all, corp members that are here, Presco and all that came to grace this event. I want to thank you for coming,” she asserted.

In her remarks, the Health and Safety Environment Presco Plc, Benin City, Edo State where Omeiza is serving, Mrs. Benedicta Elvis-Ogbe, “Corper Omeiza is somebody that does not easily give up, when embarking on his projects.”

She described Corper Omeiza as a person who is focus with clear direction, adding that despite the constrains and plights ahead, he did not give up until he saw the success of the projects.

In his comments, the General Secretary to Agbonmoba community, Mr. Efemwenkiekie Osamuyi, described Corper Omeiza, as somebody that is reliable, dedicated and committed to see whatever he has started comes to an end.

He said, what Corper Omeiza has done that no corp members that had served in the community have done it.

Osamuyi appealed to other corp members to emulate Corper Omeiza to make the community more better and conducive to live in. He added that the locality is a business environment full of various activities that make life moves on.

Contributing, the Vice-President of Ologbo Community Development Services (CDS), Miss Okorie Chioma Fortune, from Ebonyi, described Corper Omeiza, as a man that has the fear of God and somebody that is optimistic that when he say, he wants to execute project, he will do it.

“One thing I love about Emmanuel Fache Omeiza is that he is very spiritual, has the fear of God and a man that commands respect. This light will be helpful to the community, and it will last for a very long time. As my LG and Corper Omeiza had said, please help us monitor this solar electricity power project,” Okorie begged.

Disclosing what prompted him to execute the project, Corper Omeiza, posited that he embarked on the project after he had concluded with his investigation that the major street leading to Agbonmoba village is often besizged by criminals, hoodlums and armed robbers who robbed and raped people in the community by night that motivated him to install the six solar electricity power to the street to light up the area to avoid chaos in the locality.

Corper Emmanuel Feche Omeiza, Chairman, Project Committee NYSC Community Development Service Group, Edo State, said, : “As a young man coming from a very humble background. I experienced how difficult it could be to traverse through a society that has little or nothing to offer for survival and fulfilment of life dreams, especially the youths, children of this generation.”

Continuing, Corper Omeiza asserted”, surviving through this as an ‘Orphan,’ to become a first -class university graduate, created a person in me to improve my society. I started my youth service with the urge to make an impact in my location that I would be posted to serve. I set out to implement impact initiatives that would help enhance life in my locality.”

Talking about how he started conceiving the idea, Corper Omeiza explained: “several ideas were conceived, but could not be implemented due to inability to raise funds. Eventually, the need for this solar power lighting for Agbonmoba community was identified considering past criminal activities, which was made easier by the darkness around the area.

“I believe this project is a good response and one of the ways to help curb criminal activities. As I remain committed knowing that there is still more to be done to enhance and bring advancement to the society.

“I encourage governments and all individuals to continue with this Social Responsibilities.”
