His Royal Majesty, Omo N’ Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II, Oba of Benin, has congratulated all children and parents on this occasion of this year 2022 Children’s Day. The Royal Benin throne prayed to God and his ancestors to always keep the children from harm’s way, particularly during this period of insecurity in our beloved country Nigeria.
Oba Ewuare II, who has demonstrated to be a lover of children, fervently prayed to God Almighty to grant all children good health and retentive memories in their academic pursuits and chosen careers so that they can be useful, responsible citizens not only to themselves but to their parents, guardians and also to the larger society.
The highly revered Benin monarch, a Royal Father, has at heart children who are homeless, destitute, and in orphanage homes, also thought back to offering prayers of God’s providence always to them as their source of comfort on this auspicious occasion of Children’s Day.
The Omo N’Oba N’Edo congratulated and offered supplications for God’s continual provision of financial needs in these economic uncertainties, wisdom, knowledge, and desired patience to all esteemed parents, guardians, and handlers of children so that they can nature children with the fear of God. The Oba consequently wishes all children a joyous celebration of their day.
