Former Super Eagles winger, Adokiyie Amiesimaka, has slammed the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for expressing sadness over the death of Christian Chukwu, calling their condolences “utter rubbish” and highlighting the NFF’s long-standing debt to the former coach.
Amiesimaka, reacting to the news of Chukwu’s passing, stated that while he will reach out to the family to offer condolences, he finds the NFF’s display of grief hypocritical.
He pointed out that the NFF owed Chukwu money for years, a debt that remained unpaid for services rendered.
Amiesimaka expressed disgust at the NFF’s audacity to express grief over Chukwu’s death while still owing him money.
Known as the Chief Justice in his days in the Eagles, Amiesimaka was a member of the team that won the 1980 AFCON title at the National Stadium in Lagos.
