As you’re reading this a tanker said to be conveying petroleum products from Lagos to the South South region of Nigeria is burning on the Ovia River Bridge.
Information reaching Popular News desk is that the burning of the tanker commenced very early this morning and all efforts to put out the fire has not been successful.
The incident has led to a total standstill of vehicles travelling between the South West and South South region with passengers stranded.
