Information reaching Popular News is that a multiple accident that occurred on the Ovia River Bridge has claimed many lives with many others injured.
Learnt that the accident was caused by break failure of a articulated vehicle coming into Benin from the Lagos axis which rammed into some other vehicles.
Military men and officials of the Federal Road Safety Commission(FRSC) are said to be on ground to give a helping hand to victims of the crash and put things in order just as a terrific hold up stretching into kilometres is said to be the outcome of the accident.
FRSC officials have reportedly ferried the victims, injured and dead, to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) for medical attention.
