Information reaching Popular News is that the former governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, has reportedly dumped the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and joined the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC).
This was confirmed by Dr. Akin Awodeyi-Akinsehinwa in a chat on Monday morning.
According to him, the former governor, popularly known as Iroko, made it official to the leaders of the ruling APC.
“Official declaration is expected anytime from now,” Awodeyi added.
It would be recalled that Dr. Mimiko governed Ondo State between 2009 and 2017 on the platform of the Labour Party(LP).
