Managing Director (MD) of Edo State Broadcasting Service(EBS), Sulaiman Aledeh, has expressed his excitement about the return of the TV channel on terrestrial airwaves.
In a statement announcing the good news, the excited MD said: “We did it! There were those who said it was impossible and that we would need to change nearly everything, but guess what? We proved them wrong!
“For over a year, EBS has incurred significant losses due to the absence of our terrestrial channel, amounting to millions of naira. Many in my team hesitated to tackle the issue, but armed with my intuition and extensive knowledge of the craft, I sought out an external team. After three fruitful trips to Benin, we achieved our goal—EBS is once again broadcasting on Channel 45!”
He thanked Governor Monday Okpebholo for his faith and belief in him
and his team adding “working directly with you on this project has been challenging because I know that failure is not an option for you, and your unwavering belief in our abilities has been both motivating and daunting. Thank you for your confidence in us.”
In conclusion he asserted, “this is just the beginning, and I am confident that more victories lie ahead. Alhamdulillah!”
The reinvigorated TV Channel can be viewed on Channel 45.
