The state counsel informed the Court  that the first suspect, Austin Olukor was in the court and information at the disposal of the DPP showed that additional two suspects have been arrested and it will be proper to arraign all the suspects since the matter in contention is concerning the suspects.

Barrister S. O. Nweke, counsel to the first accused person, Austin Olukor, concord with the position of the state counsel, Barrister O. C. Obanor. Thereafter, presiding judge, Justice Mary Itsuili adjourned the matter to May 26th, 2021.

Speaking with newsmen, counsel to the late murdered person, Sunny Etchie’s family, Barrister Mathew Edaghese, said the case was adjourned at the instant of the State Counsel.

“The State Counsel informed the Court that two of the suspects have been arrested and that they are presently tiding up things, so that they can consolidate all the charges against the  suspects, as they cannot be tried separately,” he said.
