The gist right now is that the graduands of the Benin Film Academy who are getting set to be injected as fresh blood into the movie industry are taking the preparation a step further. The graduands have groomed themselves, changed their hairstyle even as they have collected their graduation gown for the epoch event.
One very special occurrence during the carnival like event to be held at family hangout which the management of the academy have not made public but Popular News has unearthed is the choice of Chief Lucky Imasuen as a honourary awardee based on his very supportive role in advancing the course of the movie world and artistes.
And to make the occasion a never-to-be forgotten affair friends of some of the graduands and even their family members from far and wide are said to have started arriving in Benin City to give their wards all the support they may need on the D Day.
We also gathered that Chief Imasuen may likely storm the venue with a coterie of his family members, friends and well wishers whose only interest is to ensure that he is not lacking in getting the right boosting.
