Chairman of oil outfit, DVD Oil Ltd, Valentine Asuen, has commended the exco of the Edo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) for a job well done and assured that he will give it a helping hand in its desire to modernise its secretariat and improve the fortune of its members.
He made the declaration while on a courtesy visit to the newly elected exco members led by its chairman Comrade Festus Alenkhe in its secretariat in Benin.
He recalled with happiness that in the past he has benefitted immensely from partnership with journalists in the state in his line of business.
Responding Comrade Alenkhe wished the visitor well in his endeavours and offered him a hand of fellowship adding that he should at all times feel free to approach the council for support in his future ambition.
Subsequently, Comrade Alenkhe took the visitor and his entourage on a round of ongoing construction projects in the council secretariat.
