Aspirant throws in hat for Edo House of Assembly seat

Esan Central was agog with jubilation as Ambassador Ojiefoh Enahoro declare his intention to run for Edo State House of Assembly seat for the constituency in the 2023 general elections under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP).

While flagging off his campaign at PDP ward 5 secretariat,  Irrua, Edo State, Ambassador Ojiefoh intimated his people of his desire to represent them as a legislator in the Edo State House of Assembly and lamented the state of affairs of his constituents wondering the need for governance if the people don’t feel the impact.

Disclosing his master plan on how to get his constituency involved and feel the taste of quality representation, Ambassador Ojiefoh said his main aim is to develop the agricultural sector through human friendly bills that will enable the farmers to have access to agricultural inputs, funds and trainings on globally acceptable farming techniques.
The ceremony was attended by party stalwarts from the constituency.

The House of Assembly hopeful stressed that if given the mandate he will sustain a viable presence on the floor of the State House of Assembly, prioritizing the needs of constituency with the single objective of fostering people oriented policies through quality legislation.

Ambassador Ojiefoh is a frontliner in agricultural and agro commodity export business nationally and internationally. On realizing that the era of crude oil was coming to an end embarked on sensitization programs to enlighten farmers across the three senatorial districts of the state on the need for them to go back to land.

He also trained them on globally acceptable farming techniques, distributed free Sesame seed and Cashew seedlings and assisted with other agricultural inputs.

Ambassador Ojiefoh also developed a market for them to sell their produce amongst others.
