APC thanks AAU students for rejecting Asue Ighodalo

In a spectacular and sidesplitting turn of events, the students of Ambrose Alli University (AAU) have delivered a crushing blow to PDP’s gubernatorial candidate, Asue Ighodalo. What was supposed to be a triumphant Town Hall Meeting turned into a complete fiasco, as the students gave Ighodalo the cold shoulder in a way that has the entire state laughing.

Yesterday’s Town Hall Meeting at the Students Conference Center was expected to be a grand event. Instead, it was a colossal flop, with attendance so dismal that it could be counted on one hand—fifteen students at best! The poor turnout was so embarrassing that Ighodalo had no alternative but to flee back to Benin City, tail between his legs.

This hilarious snub is a powerful indictment of the abject failure and negligence of Obaseki’s administration. AAU has been reduced to a mere afterthought, suffering from a lack of prominence, attention, and infrastructural development. The students’ rejection is a clear message: they refuse to endure the shoddy treatment and hostile environment perpetuated by Obaseki and his ilk.

Even more laughable is Ighodalo’s failure to leverage his supposed prowess as the former Chief Executive of Sterling Bank. Despite his lofty title, he hasn’t managed to open a single branch in Edo Central—his own backyard! It’s no wonder the students saw through his charade and decided they had better things to do than listen to more empty promises.

The students’ refusal to be duped by Ighodalo, who is just another Obaseki in disguise, is commendable. They are tired of leaders who have never deemed it fit to elevate their university to greater heights. This act of defiance sends a clear message: AAU students are not fools, and they will not be taken for a ride by negligent politicians any longer.
