Dr Uduak Daniel gave the charge during the inauguration of an advocacy committee in Benin City, Edo State.

The committee made up of media personnel, is expected to create awareness that will reduce to the barest minimum the spread of HIV/AIDS as well as create the much needed awareness for attitudinal change amongst members of the society.

In a lecture, Edo SACA coordinator, Mr Oguta Amidu, revealed that the South-South states of Nigeria, have the highest prevalence of HIV/AIDS with Edo State having 1.9 percent.
