Supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the Niger Delta region have commended the Managing Director(MD) of NIRSAL Micro Finance Bank, Abubakar Abdulhai Kure over the review of improve funding in the Agricultural sector, declaring that the policies has led to an appreciable increase in the participation of local farmers in the sector to boost the economy.
The Niger Delta APC Youth Vanguard Group, made up of politicians and ex-agitators from the region, under the aegis of the Niger Delta APC Youth Vanguard(ND-APCYV) said despite the rising economic challenges, Abubakar Abdulhai Kure led NIRSAL has worked tirelessly to reposition the agricultural sector in line with President Muhammad Buhari’s policy of agricultural revolution which is a basic component of this administration as economic diversification to look beyond oil wish the president’s vision and mandate is to raise over 100 thousand youths out of poverty level through compulsory agricultural revolution.
The group led by its National Coordinator, Gen Fiawei E. Pathfinder and National Secretary, Comrade A.K. Peters, in a statement issued via electronic mail in Abuja, commended Abubakar Abdulhai Kure for the great work and the tremendous achievement he has recorded so far on the mandate given to him since when he was appointed under the supervision of the amiable Central Bank Governor, His Excellency, Godwin Emiefele.
According to the group, “as at today, over 90 percent of our small holder farmers across the country who were limited to have access to farmers’ and traders’ funds of all kinds, such as artisans including barbing saloon, shop owners, female hair dressing saloons, beauty make-up artists, vulcarizers, market women with petty traders and pepper grounding machines with fashion designers, shoe makers, carpentry operators, furniture makers, bricklayers and small scale business traders including musicians and entertainment industry practitioners as well as those who were having it difficult to access this business support funds of low interest rate without collateral or by any connections are today benefiting and growing in there various businesses of specifications without stress.
“The review of the Agricultural sector with proper funding have made ordinary Nigerians smiling to their places of various business endeavors across the six geo-political zones of the country without any stress and with the approval of President of Muhammad Buhari who cares more about the welfare and the well-being of the ordinary Nigerians who massively voted for him in the last presidential election.”
The group also noted that the economic reforms and the numerous infrastructural developmental policies of the President Muhammadu Buhari led APC administration have impacted positively on the people of the Niger Delta region and Nigerians at large.
“The APC led federal government has worked hard tirelessly to transform the Niger Delta region in a manner like never before in the history of our democracy in the region. And having watched keenly and critically the activities of the MD of NIRSAL Micro Finance Bank under the leadership of Abubakar Abdulhai Kure and as well scrutinized its policies and modus of operandi of which the Bank operates a transparent open door policy that carries all Nigerians along without any discrimination nor bias, apolitical or religious coloration.
“As far as NIRSAL Micro Finance Bank is concerned, we wish to score the Managing Director very high and applaud the transparent inclusive open door leadership style of Abubakar Abdulhai Kure.
