and disclosed ongoing and future initiatives of the Agency. He highlighted the provision of mini-grids and solar lighting systems to institutions across the Niger Delta region, as well as the commencement of the third phase of REA’s programme, which will further extend access to clean and sustainable energy in underserved communities.

Significantly, the MD/CEO also announced the appointment of a Students Desk Officer, to ensure effective engagement and representation of student interests in the Agency’s programmes.

In response, the delegation, under the leadership of Comrade Ogunseri, commended the MD/CEO for his visionary leadership and reaffirmed their appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for the Federal Government’s laudable reforms and continued support towards infrastructural and educational development in the Niger Delta region.

The students’ body expressed optimism that these interventions will not only improve access to energy but also foster academic excellence, youth empowerment, and regional development.
