Turin will be agog between 8 – 15 March, 2025, when it plays host to about 1,500 athletes from 103 countries that will compete in eight different sports.
The unique and interesting target of the organisers of the world’s largest sports and humanitarian event is that there will be full demonstration of international inclusion, acceptance, and unity.
The information on the website of World Winter Games Turin 2025 further revealed that about 621 coaches, 2,000 volunteers and 100,000 spectators will grace the much publicized sports fiesta in Turin, Italy. The Special Olympics is a global movement showing the world a future where everyone belongs.
Research has shown that a more inclusive world begins with sports, and the impact extends far beyond the playing field. World Games is the flagship event of Special Olympics, a year-round, global movement serving more than 3.5million athletes with intellectual disabilities in 277 state and national programs and offering over 50,000 sports competitions yearly.
