Describing the installation of the high powered solar street lights as a timely intervention, party chieftains, community leaders, groups and residents who spoke separately, applauded the responsive and enviable leadership traits displayed by the All Progressives Congress(APC) federal lawmaker as they call on other political office holders within and outside the Federal Constituency to emulate his legislative style.

“Political office holders have come and gone over the years, but we have never had it this good like we do today with our son, Hon. Henry Odianosen Okojie. He has proven to be a true royal blood and one who can be trusted when he speaks. Ukhuesan among other communities has been cut off from the national grid for over six years and still counting.

“The community has been plunged into darkness and residents perpetually lived in fear following activities of thieves and criminals. But today, the story is different and that fear has been wiped off as our community has been light up by our beloved son, Prince Henry Odianosen Okojie. Let it be known that the Ukhuesan people will forever remain grateful to him and continue to pray and support all his activities as he remembered us,” residents submitted.

The Ukhuesan solar light project, is among the over 35 locations/streets/communities solar light projects already been completed as facilitated by Hon. Henry Odianosen Okojie in line with his developmental agenda in providing light to communities across the federal constituency.

Hon. Okojie in a statement made available to the press stated that the desire to improve the lives of the constituents remains key, therefore the installation of the street lights in Ukhuesan and other communities is a necessary tool which would enhance security and tackle socio-economic challenges of the people considering the importance of light to human and societal development.

The lawmaker, however enjoined the benefiting community to guard the lights jealously from been vandalized in their interest and for the overall development of their community. He also, appealed to other communities in the constituency to be patient as no community would be left out as he solicite for their continued support and prayers from all and sundry to enable him succeed more in the task ahead.
