Family, friends and associates of the Publisher of de- Patriot Newsonline, Comrade Rosemary Okoduwa, have celebrated her on the occassion of her birthday anniversary which held on Sunday, April 14th, with pomp and pageantry.
The ceremonies, which began with a Church thanksgiving at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Benin City, saw family and friends danced to the altar to celebrate the celebrant to the admiration of all, just as the Parishioners prayed for God’s guidance and abundant blessings on her.
The birthday later shifted from the Church service to Amadin Orphanage Home, where orphans and the less privileged joined in celebrating the celebrant.Â
At Amadin Orphanage, the celebrant showered the children with gift items which included, clothings, food items and beverages among others. The event climaxed with the cutting of her birthday cake supported by the orphans and her friends.
An elated Comrade Rosemary Okoduwa, full of appreciation to her family and friends, appreciated God for the gift of life. Personalities who graced the ocassion extoled the celebrant for her forthrightness and dedication to her duty and the work of God.
Among the personalities who graced the ocassion were Mrs. Nefishetu Yakubu, Chairman of the Correspondent Chapel of the NUJ; Engr. Emmanuel Owie, Comrade Ede Agho of the NTA Benin Network Centre; Mr Michael Egbejule, the Edo State Correspondent of the flagship Guardian Newspaper; Mrs. Ivy Ebojele, Media Aide of the Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly; Dr. Amina Ebor, Mr. Kingdom Okamadu, Mrs Louisa Agbonkhese, Prince Peter Okhah, Engr. Kelvin Okpebholo, Mr. Harry Okonofua and Comrade Lucia Okafor, Publisher of the Merit Newspaper plus a host of others.
