Ex-Niger Delta Agitators preach peace, suspends planned protest

The leadership of the First Phase forum of beneficiaries of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) have commended the Interim Administrator of the PAP, Major General Barry Ndiomu(rtd) for his excellent adminstration of the program.

The forum known as Ex-Agitators Foundation (EAF) gave the commendation recently in Benin City, Edo State, during its end of year assessment and stock taking of the Presidential Amnesty Programme.

The meeting which was attended by its nine(9) state coordinators and national executive members also made a patriotic call for the Amnesty boss to be retained in office to enable him successfully implement his creative initiative such as loans given to the beneficiaries to also have positive impact in the the lives of the youths and the ex-agitators.

President of the Ex-Agitators, His Royal Highness, Henry Binidodogha(aka Egbema 1), commended General Ndiomu for his consultative and engaging approach in relating with critical stakeholders of the region which has created an atmosphere for peace in the Niger Delta region.

He also called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu and the Chairman Senate Committee on Niger Delta, Senator Bari Mpigi not to allow politicians to politicize the office because it’s a security programme and more funds should be allocated to the programme to enable the beneficiaries to be self independent.
