Serious fight is said to be going on in the Edo State Government House presently between those loyal to Governor Godwin Obaseki and those supporting his embattled Deputy, Comrade Philip Shaibu.
Gist around town is that loyalists of the governor who are not too comfortable with Comrade Shaibu’s sit tight attitude in the state Government House despite the fact that he has been allocated a new office space outside the Osadebey Avenue Government House in the early hours of this morning moved in to seal off his former office inside the Government House an action that is being resisted by Comrade Shaibu’s aides.
The story making the rounds is that sporadic gunshots were heard as the fight ensued.
