2023: Sam Ohuabunwa set for consultations in Edo

As the quest for Nigeria’s next president continues, a presidential aspirant, Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa, is set to visit Benin City, Edo State for further consultations on his ambition.

He is scheduled to visit the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday, January 26th, 2022.

Ohuabunwa is one of the earliest Nigerians to express interest in becoming president of the country in the 2023 presidential election.

Speaking to journalists, Ohuabunwa explained that he would be having two consultation meetings in Edo State upon his arrival.

“I will be visiting officials of my party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). My presence in the state is to consult with the PDP and other stakeholders over my presidential ambition,” he explained.

Earlier in 2021, Ohuabunwa visited Benin City, the Edo State capital, to inanaugurate the Edo State Chapter of the New Nigeria Group (NNG), a political group he has established in nearly all the 36 states of Nigeria including the FCT.

Recall that Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa in September 2021 declared to contest for the position of the president in the 2023 elections.

He is the immediate past President of the Nigerian Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria. He is also the former Chairman of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), founder of Neimeth Pharmaceuticals and Convener of the New Nigeria Group.
