Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, Rivers State Governor, has promised to place Nigeria on the right path if he wins the 2023 Presidential Polls.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential aspirant made the promise in Benin, the Edo State capital in the course of his campaign to the party’s delegates to the forthcoming convention of the party where it’s sole candidate would emerge.

He said that he is the only aspirant amidst the hordes that are currently jostling to fly the party’s banner in the 2023 Presidential poll that can floor any candidate that the APC presents.

Wike assured the Edo PDP delegates that he is capable of turning the fortunes of the country around for the better if he becomes the president starting from May 29th, 2023.

He stated that as President he will be fully in charge of the running of the affairs of the country and won’t pass the buck to anyone else for any reason.

Governor Wike assured the delegates that he will always support them especially as it concerns maintaining the status quo as he will never be a party to the idea of replacing them with new faces.

In his comment, Senator Roland Owie, a chieftain of the PDP in the state thanked Wike for the role he played in ensuring that the party won the 2020 gubernatorial polls in the state despite the odds.

He appealed the the presidential aspirant not to shut his gate against the party members in future when they need his assistance especially in the light of information been circulated that some elements within the party are working to tamper with the state delegates list in the future.
