As the 2023 elections draw near, some Ministers of God have urged their church members to vote for candidates that have the fear of God, are competent, have good leadership mindset, are good in character and that would remove the untold hardship the APC Government led by President Muhammadu Buhari had plugged the country into.

They also charged their members to collect their PVCs before the Presidential Polls billed to hold February 25, 2023. They equally urged members to constantly pray for Nigeria especially at this elections era.

The men and women of God made the statements in an event organized by United Prayer Force Present Edo Ministers Elder’s Caucus, with the theme: ‘The Prevailing Church,’ where one of the discussants, Dr. Lemmy Oare Russel, a facilitator for Advance Kingdom Institute of Management, said that to realize the programme theme there must be the establishment of Prevailing Church that will have a clear sight of what the kingdom of God is talking about.

Dr. Lemmy Oare Russel, who is the President, His Kingdom Community House Ministries, asserted that the church should strategize or develop a Wealth Transfer Capacity on how to generate fund to run the vision of the church. He said if the church must take its right step in the political arena they must develop the Wealth Transfer Capacity Strategy.

Also, commenting the Founder of Life Renewal Ministries, Apostle Godwin Ojo, appealed to the congregation to collect their PVCs to enable them vote for the right candidates that would rescue them from the pain and agony APC government had imposed on them. He also urged them to be steadfast in praying for the Church and the Nation in general.

“Let me tell you, as far as election is concerned. If you don’t have PVCs, you have no voice in this election discussion. No matter how you speak and mobilize you have no voice. Is only those who have PVCs that have a voice. Politics is a game of numbers,” he added.

He explained that when there is mass votes, as a result of many electorates get their PVCs rigging will be difficult to perfect.

On his part, the Head of National Publicity, Contact and Mobilization of Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Council (LP-CCC),  Evangelist Tony Akeni, appealed to the participants to vote for Mr. Peter Obi and a candidate that have sound knowledge of God, that have a listen ear with good character and a have the fear of God.

Evangelist Akeni also butttressed that Mr. Peter Obi possessed all the attributes to become a President and stressed that he is not a saint. He lamented how President Buhari had deceived Nigerians contrary to what he promised Nigerians in 2015 when he got into office.

Evangelist Akeni said he was one of those who felt President Jonathan and his PDP had failed the country, and should vacate Nigeria’s leadership.

“We brought in President Muhammadu Buhari 2015. I had to disengage from his leadership in March 2018, after observing diabolic betrayals of the people’s passion and persuation that brought him to office,” he posited.

“Let us desist from every criminal among those who rule this country. At every levels, from the local government council to councillor, to state governors, House of Assembly members and to the President. Let us begin to disobey what is evil in a constructive and constitutionally agreed and stipulated manner.

“Such as this particular hour that requires all of us to get our PVCe to march forward to change the narrative of the leadership of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. You will get you PVCs no matter the games the ruling APC government is playing. Because plans are on ground to deny Nigerians to get their PVCs, especially the region where Mr. Peter Obi is popular. So we are in court to fight against it. We are going to mobilize more civil society to join us in the race. Be vigilant and be ready to vote.”

He lamented that despite many churches and mosques in Nigeria social vices like rape, kidnapping, armed robbery, unemployment, hunger, and others still persisted in the country today. He begged the partakers that have not collected their PVCs to go and collect it. He said they took INEC to court on the aspect of PVCs wahala.

In his remarks, the Facilitator of the Ministries Conference, Dr. Paul Oyarenua, urged the congregation to make sure they collect their PVCs. He said the party constitution that APC is using to rule Nigerian was written by Prof. Pat Utomi and other key intellectuals.

Dr. Oyarenua in a communique by the Ministers at the end of programme concurred that the church and members of Ministers Conference will defend the votes of every Nigerian citizen.

“The Edo State Ministers Elders’ Caucus Conference, the Church and the good people of Nigeria will defend the votes. To this end, we request all eligible voters to go out enmass without fear or worry for the continuous existence of Nigeria as a nation. The entire force of the  church and other religion in the country is to stand for the restoration of a new Nigeria,” Dr. Paul Oyarenua stressed.

In addition, the Executive Secretary of Moses Oisikede Leadership Foundation (MOLF), Comrade Michael Igaga, said one of the plights Nigeria is facing is leadership problem. He said if the country gets its leadership right, things would change instantly in this nation.

The MOLF Executive Secretary lamented how many youths had gone into yahoo, yahoo trade because of bad government of the APC. He complained about the cashless policy introduced by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and stressed that the policy had plugged many Nigerians into deep economic crisis especially those who in the grassroots.

He appealed to Nigerians to vote the right candidate that would change the present bad narrative of the country and begged the electorates to get their PVCs and ensure they protect their votes after casting the votes at the polling units.

In her remarks, spokesperson of the Liberation Prayer Ministry, in Abuja, Evangelist Grace Imakhai , emphasized that Christians should pray always to know what God is revealing to them. She said as for her she hear the voice of God and that is what give her a clear direction of what God says.

Evangelist Imakhai said faith is the key that provoked quick prayers that get instant answers. She said this is time to mobilize for Peter Obi. That it takes faith to be in the move of the campaign to continue and urged the partakers to get their PVCs .

Mrs. Bridget Aijo Russel, member, Nigerians Ask for Peter Obi, urged the people to vote Mr. Obi. That he is the only person that can remove us from this economic bondage that APC had put Nigerians into.

She appealed to the youths to come out and participate in the 2023 elections and begged the electorates to make sure they collect their PVCs.
